Get a jump start on your Halloween projects!  These cute containers can hold great treats for your kids, co-workers, teachers, and friends!  And if you don’t celebrate Halloween or make Halloween treats, you can still use the templates to make goodies for other occasions or holidays!  The tutorial for these cute, cute, cute projects was posted today at Craft Project Central.  I think Heidi King did an outstanding job on these containers by adding a lot of visual interest!

I {heart} Stampin' Up!'s MDS2 software--almost as much as I {heart} Cheerwine or peppermint Ice Cubes chewing gum, and that's a lot of love!  On the very last day of Stampin' Up!'s discount pricing on professional printing about ten days ago, I decided to design a holiday card, and I am totally kicking myself for not doing this sooner--or ordering more cards during the sale.  Still, it's quite a relief to know that I have a small stash of holiday cards ready to send.  Did you know that when you order an MDS print job (cards) through Stampin' Up!, they come with envelopes--nice square-flap envelopes????  Oh yes, they do!  The card that I designed features the following digital images/content:  Joyful Times embellishment kit, Taffeta Trimmings, Wishes & Greetings stamp set, Eyelet Border punch, Lots of Tags punch shape, and Christmas Lodge stamp set.  You'll notice rhinestone jewels on my card--I added those to the card prior to taking the photos.

Being able to fully customize every square inch of the card is AWESOME!
Have you purchased MDS2?  If not, what are you waiting for??????  I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't own this software!  In case you are considering the purchase, I highly recommend that you select MDS2+ because it is TRULY the best value with all of the image content that you get.  I already had a LOT of digital content on the previous version of MDS that I was using and, even though some of the MDS2+ content was a duplicate to what I already had, it was still a better value for me to bite the bullet and get all of that fabulous content that was brand new for me.  Did you know that Stampin' Up! releases new digital content EVERY Tuesday?  You will never run out of images to work with and, if you're like me, you'll continuously discover images that you didn't remember (or know) that you had.  And lest I forget to mention . . . all of the digital content will coordinate with the Stampin' Up! color products that you already own.

It's time for MISM, and I have a really simple card to share today!  For quite some time, I have been trying to decide if I wanted Stampin' Up!'s "Take Care" stamp set but, of course, I wanted it!  It arrived last week, and I finally had the chance yesterday to ink some of the images.  You'll notice that my bird eggs are round instead of oval, and that's because I wanted eggs in the nest that had some dimension to them and that meant using the jumbo pearls.  All in all, I love this little stamp set and how easy it is to make a clean and simple card with it.  I hope you like it, too!

This lovely ensemble makes the perfect gift or project for an upcoming class or workshop!  The tea bag box holds several tea bags, and the coordinating card is sure to "wow" them when they open it and see the pop-up tea cup!
The tutorial for this gift ensemble, which was designed by Laurie, posted to Craft Project Central today.  With your paid subscription, you can have access to all of the project tutorials posted this month!

Small gift/treat boxes are nice to have on hand, and they’re even better when they can be folded and stored flat until ready to use.  This project ensemble includes a flat-fold box, a decorative floral adornment, and four note cards, complete with coordinating envelopes!  And using the cute Hoop La La stamp set, it makes a great gift for those that love cross stitch!  This is the ensemble that I designed for Craft Project Central this month, and I will warn you that these little boxes are addictive--you'll want to make several at a time!  For my tutorial and all of the others posted to Craft Project Central this month, all you have to do is subscribe!

With autumn fast approaching, it’s time to turn our thoughts to sweaters, crispy leaves, and Thanksgiving dinners (October 8th for our Canadian friends!).  This project will help you get set for your family get-together by providing instructions on a warm and inviting holiday table setting, including a centerpiece, place cards, favors for your guests, a ‘grateful’ box for your guests to write what they are grateful for, and so much more!  Just add the food, family and friends, and you’re ready to go!
The tutorial--complete with photos and written instructions--for this holiday table setting, designed by Tara Bourgoin, was posted to Craft Project Central today.

Today's MISM project is a square card (no surprise, huh) that features a couple of new Stampin' Up! products . . . Mitten Punch (for the tulips and leaves) and Holiday Frame embossing folder.  I can't take credit for the tulip idea because it was featured in the October issue of "Stampin' Success", but I can take credit for making my tulips dimensional with a coordinating color of card stock and dry-embossing.  It's always fun to find clever ways to use punches!  We'll have mittens in the winter and tulips in the spring!  Other Stampin' Up! products used to create this card include the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch, Jewelry Tag punch, Lucky Limeade ruffled ribbon, "Fabulous Phrases" stamp set, white Baker's twine, rhinestone jewels, and the following card stock:  Whisper White, Early Espresso, Lucky Limeade, Baja Breeze, Island Indigo, Pink Pirouette, Primrose Petals, Wisteria Wonder, and Elegant Eggplant.

How cute is this Halloween ensemble?  The cute little vampire owl sits atop a clamshell box full of Halloween treats!  The finished box is 4" x 4", which will hold a lot of monster munchies or perhaps some other bootiful gifts!  A simple and fun gift for kids and adults alike.  The tutorial for this project, which was designed by Kim, was added to Craft Project Central today.

I had promised to post the winning name today for the FREE one-month subscription to Craft Project Central, and I apologize for the delay.  This has not been a typical week!  I didn't want to just post a winning name without giving you something to see, and I have to admit that this is a card that I designed for my class this month--and rejected.  Following are the Stampin' Up! products used to create the card:  "Postage Due" stamp set, Whisper White, Basic Black, Summer Starfruit, and Glossy White card stock, silver brad, Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details (this stuff is soooooooo pretty), StazOn ink, Stampin' Sponges, and Summer Starfruit, Marina Mist, and Pacific Point ink.  I don't remember the name of the ribbon, but it was recently purchased from the Clearance Rack.  I almost forgot to mention the Chevron embossing folder and Postage Stamp punch!  And now . . . selected by (true random number generator), the winner of the FREE one-month subscription is Laura who posted this comment:  "Love your project, Regina. I'm crazy about that paper. My prayers are with your grandmother as she heals and also with your dad through his surgery. We are enjoying our trip--- my info and pictures when I return."  Congratulations, Laura!  I'll contact you for the information needed for the subscription.  I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to post a comment!  Comments are few and far between, but they are always appreciated!

The photo of today's MISM card is a bit dark--sorry about that.  I used Stampin' Up!'s "International Bazaar" designer paper and Postage Stamp punch to make the fabric-looking squares.  The sentiment is from the retired "Happiest Birthday Wishes" hostess set (love this set!!!), and I also used retired hemp twine and a "Sweet Stitches" designer brad.  My card stock colors are Early Espresso, Sahara Sand, and Whisper White.
Since I'm a designer for Craft Project Central again this month, I have a FREE one-month subscription to give away.  The only thing you need to do to be entered in the drawing for this awesome freebie is post a comment to this blog post.  Be sure to leave your email addy so I will know how to contact you if you win.  A winner will be selected and announced on Friday, September 14th.

The month of September marks the end of summer and the beginning of fall . . . crisp days and cool nights, trees alive with fiery color, and the promise of bountiful harvest.  To celebrate fall, the tutorial for this beautiful card portfolio posted today on Craft Project Central.  Inside the richly decorated folio, there are four cards with coordinating envelopes, as well as a selection of self-adhesive sentiments.  When an occasion arises, a sentiment is chosen and adhered to the card.  The card design is suitable for just about anyone, making this a very versatile ensemble and a fabulous gift!
The designer of this project is Leena Girsa.  Didn't she do a beautiful job?  I think this ensemble is absolutely gorgeous, and she definitely captured the true spirit of the Fall season.

Fabric flowers seem to be everywhere, and aren't these gorgeous?!?!  Flowers are being worn for brooches and hair clips.  They are sewn onto t-shirts, pinned on purses, and attached to headbands!  The possibilities seem endless, and  they are easier to make than you might think!  Grab your circle dies and designer fabric, and follow this tutorial to make three pretty and unique flowers.  The designer of these creative and gorgeous fabric flowers is Carrie Rhoades, and her tutorial posted yesterday to Craft Project Central.  These flowers will dress up any outfit, dazzle any purse and make who ever receives them feel special!  In addition, they’re easy to make and less expensive than any flowers you could buy!
