"SWEET THREADS"

I haven't seen much squeal about Stampin' Up!'s Sweet Threads Simply Sent kit (#126924), so I thought I'd share the two cards that I made recently.  I've actually had the kit for quite a while, but it got pushed aside (and under) while I worked on other things.  I really enjoyed sitting down on Sunday to do a little cross-stitching, which is something that I haven't done in a long time!  One of the things that I really disliked about cross-stitching years ago was when it came time to change colors, which meant threading another needle.  Stampin' Up! worked that out perfectly with this kit because there's ample floss for eight projects but, best of all, there are two needles in the kit!  {♥}

There are times when I know that I spend too much time getting a card "just right", but such was not the case on Sunday.  The polka dot cards that are included in the kit are simply perfect and, in my humble opinion, indicate that it's quite alright to go simple.  The only real embellishing that I did was add a clear heart button to each cross-stitched design, and isn't that a sweet touch?
